A Conversation with Frances Haugen
Join us for a conversation with Frances Haugen, who blew the whistle on multiple problems at Facebook in 2021. We will discuss the issues Haugen saw while working at Facebook, including misinformation and the impacts of social media on young people. We will also talk about paths forward and how to regulate the online world for safety rather than profit. There will be plenty of time for questions from the audience.
The conversation will be moderated by CSDI Director, Dr. Heidi Tworek.
